Sawmill East Africa Limited (SEAL) produces timber and high quality wooden products from East Africa’s finest plantation forests. SEAL is very proud to support the Rwandan wood industry with all of its products made 100% in Rwanda.

We are happy to provide job opportunities for more than 300 people and offer education, health insurance and grow-opportunities.

For our wooden products we use wood out of Rwandese plantation forests that are all replanted to increase biodiversity and protect wildlife.

​

In our sawmill and factory we produce a variety of products like furniture, ceiling, flooring and doors. It’s also possible to produce products on demand. SEAL uses the latest innovative technology. We have a dry kiln machines to produce high quality, long lasting products and we use  natural chemical treatment on our wood.

SEAL is very keen to cooperate with both local and international partners and is part of the Made-in-Rwanda-initiative.

 

Since 2018 SEAL created over 300 new jobs, introduced new technology, taught new skills to employees, started export market development and sales to the domestic market.

SEAL is an environmentally conscious company that balances the needs of the environment, wildlife and local communities and improves the biodiversity of the plantation forest by replanting timber and other forest products such as nuts, fruits, oils and plants.
